The patch reduces load times, freezing issues, and frame rate problems. Here are some new screenshots showing some of the new stuff we can look forward to.Ori and the Will of the Wisps has a new patch available now. Ori and the Blind Forest was one of the best games released in 2015 - both when it comes to design and music but most importantly, also gameplay - and if you still haven't played it or just want more of the good stuff, then the Definitive Edition surely will be worth checking out. There also a new easier mode as well as as a harder one. Other new things include a new move for Ori - the dash - and a theater mode where you can enjoy the beautiful cut scenes and art from the game. It is a full sized new level with plenty of things to discover and all interwoven with the already-existing story. The most important addition is a new playable area called "Black Root Burrows", where we're going to discover the past of Naru and get to understand her better. But it seems to have been worth waiting for as there is plenty of new content. Microsoft and Moon Studios has finally announced a date for the delayed Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition which originally was planned to launch late last year. ![]()
